The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo The Q Revo is a great choice if you're looking for a mid-priced robot vacuum and mop. It provides a fantastic mopping experience, but it lacks the advanced features of its more expensive counterpart. During tests it was able to eliminate pet hair and dry oats out of carpets with a medium pile. But, unlike cheaper models, it doesn't employ LIDAR to map out your home. 1. Roomba S9+ from iRobot The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is one of the most highly-rated robots. It comes with a variety of features and incredible cleaning power, including a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. It can also learn your cleaning habits and suggest automatic schedules to ensure you have a hands-free experience. It's easy to set up thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is setup it can begin automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough maps of your home to ensure that your entire home has a clean and tidy appearance. This robot vac performs well on both bare floors and carpets with low pile. It is able to take large objects and doesn't lose suction as quickly as some other models and can pick up pet hair with ease. It's a challenge with carpets that are high-pile or plush however, iRobot promises that the next models will be better. The S9+ features a new design from iRobot, which focuses on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba to adopt a flat-fronted D-shaped design, which it hopes will allow it to be able to swaddle walls and furniture. It's an improvement over the hockey puck-shaped robovacs that are common however we found it only marginally better than circular models. iRobot also claims the S9+ comes with an improved filtering system that blocks microscopic dust particles and allergens from recirculating throughout your home. vacuum robot think it's a nice statement however, it's not enough to justify a higher price. Its smart navigation system uses sensors to store the arrangement of your home and vSLAM to map the interior. This allows it to steer clear of obstacles like stairs and other barriers and to clean up your entire house in the most efficient way possible. The iRobot Home app lets you control the robot and schedule cleaning times, as well as establish virtual boundary markers, so that it knows to avoid areas that require more attention. 2. Roborock Q Revo When it is about robots that can combine mopping and vacuuming and mopping, the Roborock Q revo is a standout. Its vac settings are as effective as those on higher-end models, and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a more impressive job of scrubbing floors than a stationary vibration pad. As for the mopping system, I was impressed by its ability to scrub tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has which are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very minimal noise, meaning you can work or watch TV without being distracted. It will gently bump into furniture or walls and then move away when it encounters one. What really distinguishes the Q Revo apart is that it's designed to function almost completely autonomously, requiring only a little for human intervention. The robo-vac comes with a multi-function dock that can automatically transfer physical trash to the bin hidden in the background and also washes and drys the mop pads, and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at nagging you only when something requires attention, for example, the water tank being empty or a scheduled cleaning session being cancelled because of a full dust bin. You can also create and merge actual rooms to customize how the Q Revo will treat your home. This is a great feature for those who have multiple rooms in your home that have different flooring materials or there's a lot of items that need to be removed frequently, like clothes, toys and books. The robo-vac is also efficient and was among the top performers during my tests, picking up debris from carpets as well as hardwoods in its first run. It is able to vacuum up wet spills. I recommend drying the area with a towel prior to sending it to. 3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni The X2 Omni has all of the features you'd want from a top-quality robot vacuum and mop and more. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+, it has an excellent vacuum that has a powerful suction to clean carpet and hard floors, and an omni-rotating mop that scrubs tough staining. It also has an auto-cleaning base station that automatically empty and cleans the mop pads, ensuring that they remain them germ-free and ready for use again. It also comes with a brand new sensor system that can better detects obstacles, giving it the ability to avoid falling over furniture or other objects. The biggest improvement over the ECOVACS Deebot X1 is that it has a sleeker, more modern design, thanks to Danish firm Jacob Jensen Design (best known for its Bang & Olufsen products). The robot is still quite large. It measures over two feet in height and depth and weighs in at least four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7. This model is also more efficient than the X1 version, since it has a faster charging speed for batteries and can handle a complete cleaning of approximately 1,500 square feet with just one charge. It also comes with a larger and more durable dustbin that can hold more debris. This makes it easier to empty. Finally lastly, the X2 Omni has a more intuitive app and a voice assistant that works offline, so you can manage it even when not home. It also has more mopping modes and an intelligent routing feature that gives it the flexibility to clean specific areas or rooms of your home instead simply following a predetermined path. The X2 Omni has the best mopping performance of any robot we've tested because of its rotating mop pads that remove tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming capabilities are excellent too, and it boosts suction when it detects carpets to ensure that it does an excellent job. It also has a massive battery that can last for several weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as effective as any we've seen in an ordinary robot. 4. Dreametech L10s Ultra The Dreametech L10s Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a top-quality model that has a range of convenience features not often found on robots of this price. It can build detailed floor maps, identify various flooring types and is one of the few robots that automatically wash and dry the mop pads. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the luxury category. This might make it more expensive than what homeowners would need. Created to resemble a modern floor cleaner designed to look like a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish highlighted by silver elements and mirror plating. The front of the machine features an impressive bumper that protects the vacuum cleaner and furniture as you move around your home. Sensors are concealed behind the front pane, which help the L10s Ultra navigate tight corners and avoid obstacles. On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that acts as an on/off switch. This button will turn on the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it to its base station. The central control panel has a circular menu that allows you to select cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons below the screen will open up the app's settings menu where you can modify how the L10s Ultra works with your home. Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This creates a precise floor plan that allows the robot vacuum and mop efficiently, without getting stuck in messy areas. The LIDAR helps the robot vacuum avoid obstacles and recognize them and avoid them, which is a great feature for homes with pets or small children. The L10s Ultra provides solid vacuuming performance, clearing 98.4 percent of the debris from our hard-floor test and getting rid of all but the most difficult juice stain. The mops also work well in removing 98.4 percent of the debris from our carpet, tile and wood tests. However, it wasn't quite as great at tackling sand on the floor, or Quaker oats on carpet.
